a silver birch: It's almost the end of July

and it's been raining and raining and raining. We have our new wee dog, Luna, and she does not like the dark thundery days. She goes wild, makes strange noises and generally freaks out.

This week I have mostly been thinking about kitchen lighting. I love the Kartell Suspension lamp, in orange, and red, and purple too. Available here. We have FINALLY painted our kitchen, moved the light and removed the horrid wood paneling. It's beginning to take shape...
