a silver birch: It is now June

It is now June and Andrew was 39 yesterday. We had a birthday tea with his parents, my mum, presents, cats, trifle and cakes. It's been such a long time since my last blog and so much has happened. We moved into our new flat, we had a builder in to do things to it, Andrew sanded floors, we nested, the cats explored cupboards and then everything stopped when a sad thing happened. Now though, we're back to doing things to the flat, we've made a list, bought bits and bobs and I'm scouring Pinterest for lovely images to inspire and influence me.

We have lots to do - painting, stripping wallpaper, gutting kitchen, putting up shelves and I need to find homes for my extensive print collection and crockery/bits and bobs obsessions. Andrew has suggested pairing down the collections, I've reassured him that that is simply unthinkable.
